Japanese-Korean Cosmetics Craze | Kawaii K-pop Makeup Tutorial

I started my blog back in 2010 because of my love for Korean and Japanese cosmetics. I’ll be traveling to the west soon so I thought that I’ll create an Asian-themed makeup tutorial before I leave. I went around the beauty section of SM Makati to pick out products that are fitting for this entry. These are the items I ended up with. As always, before applying any makeup, start with a clean face with ZERO makeup. My eyeliner and eyebrows are permanently tattooed on so I look like I have makeup on. Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette (Swatches + Day & Night Eyes)

I rarely have time to do EOTD posts and eyeshadow swatches due to my erratic schedule nowadays. But when I saw this in the mail last week, I just had to shoot photos and try it out right away because I haven’t read any reviews about it yet from my beauty blogger friends.   I’ve been waiting for a drugstore brand to come up with a nice eyeshadow palette that comes in more than 4 to 5 colors. Remember my ‘Prom Queen’ eye makeup tutorial last month? Well, here are the key makeup that I used to achieve those vibrant plum eyes.   For my eyeshadows, I used Catwalk Cosmetics and for everything else, I used Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real products. The They’re Real Push-up Liner is the first of its kind. It’s a gel-type liner in the form of a pen so it’s very convenient to use because there’s no need to buy an eyeliner gel brush for application. It may be easy for me to use this but it may take some time for some people,Read more

DIY Prom Eye Makeup Tutorial

It’s PROM season again!! I’ve been getting a lot of requests to do a makeup tutorial for prom and graduation so I’m going to recreate my 2013 Mega Pinoy Pride Ball look with a step-by-step eye makeup tutorial. It’s a great way to make our eyes pop from photos and make your date get mesmerized by your eyes when he looks into them while you’re dancing the night away. *ayy how cheezy!* :)) The first step for beginners is to wear contact lenses. This is to avoid having dirty hands touch your lenses. Since I’m an expert at wearing andRead more
