Etude House My Beauty Tool Secret Brush 121 & Play 101 Stick Contour Duo Stick Review

Contouring is your best friend when you have a round or square-shaped face like mine. It gives the illusion of a slimmer face and you can also use it to make your nose look sharper or define your cheek bones. Contouring can be tricky or hard for some but I found these two very easy to use tools at Etude House. The My Beauty Tool Secret Brush 121 Skin (P848.00) is an oval brush that can be used for both wet and dry application. It also has an interchangeable head so you can change the brush into a foam applicator.Read more

No Switching : Physiogel Calming Relief Face Cream & Gentle Cleanser Review

It’s a habit of mine to switch products whenever the season or weather changes but the Physiogel Calming Relief cream has become a constant in my skin regimen since I started using it at the beginning of the year. I’ve already finished two bottles of it and I think the current one I’m using won’t last for long too. You’ve seen the effects on my skin when I took on the 14-day Free In My Skin challenge last February but I haven’t shared much about the products itself. The Calming Relief range consists of the Face Cream, Face Cream RichRead more

Makeup Tutorial: Travel with Sephora PH

I’ve never really shared this weird travel fact about myself but I try not to apply any makeup at all when I fly to warmer places while I layer on makeup when I visit countries with a colder climate. In this blog entry, I’m going to share my first package from Sephora Philippines with a simple eyes, cheeks and lips makeup tutorial that I usually do when I’m touring Europe during winter. My tourmates always end up having dry, flaky skin or wind burn on their faces while I’m the only one with unparched skin. I don’t just layer on makeupRead more

Japanese-Korean Cosmetics Craze | Kawaii K-pop Makeup Tutorial

I started my blog back in 2010 because of my love for Korean and Japanese cosmetics. I’ll be traveling to the west soon so I thought that I’ll create an Asian-themed makeup tutorial before I leave. I went around the beauty section of SM Makati to pick out products that are fitting for this entry. These are the items I ended up with. As always, before applying any makeup, start with a clean face with ZERO makeup. My eyeliner and eyebrows are permanently tattooed on so I look like I have makeup on. After applying primer and foundation, apply aRead more

Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette (Swatches + Day & Night Eyes)

I rarely have time to do EOTD posts and eyeshadow swatches due to my erratic schedule nowadays. But when I saw this in the mail last week, I just had to shoot photos and try it out right away because I haven’t read any reviews about it yet from my beauty blogger friends.   I’ve been waiting for a drugstore brand to come up with a nice eyeshadow palette that comes in more than 4 to 5 colors. They usually produce quads or mini-palettes which I find inadequate so I have to bring more than a set whenever I go abroad.Read more

Benefit Cosmetics x Marj Sia Makeup Workshop! (April 25 & May 16)

I hope you didn’t fall off your chair after I announced my workshop’s latest collaboration!! ;) This summer, I’m partnering with the uber-cute makeup brand from San Francisco, BENEFIT COSMETICS! I am pretty sure the slots will be gone quick because I only have two available dates: April 25 or May 16 at 1-5pm. (Both are Saturdays)I will only accept a maximum of 12 students per class so it’s easier for me to focus on each and every participant. :) There’s actually a private class tomorrow for those who didn’t make it to my previous classes and requested to beRead more
