Belo SunExpert Review | Soak Swimwear OOTD

The extremely hot weather in Manila only means one thing…. It’s time to pack your sunscreen and swimsuits because summer is officially here!! To kick off this season, let me share my review of the Belo SunExpert line and their latest products. I booked multiple trips to Boracay this summer with different set of groups and didn’t realize that I’ll be staying for about half a month in the island! Dream come true! <3 That’s why I’ve fully prepared myself as early as now by stocking up on these sun care products from Belo. My favorite would be this Belo SunExpert UltragentleRead more

Etude House Brush Shower Cleaner Review

Last week, I was on a 3 day juice cleanse and it was driving me NUTS whenever I smelled food so I locked myself at home and made a list of things to do so I’d stay productive. #1 on my list would be to clean my makeup brushes with this Etude House Brush Shower Cleaner. (P428.00/250mL or P648.00/ 500mL) The product is pretty potent so you only need a small quantity to clean a single dirty brush. This oval brush is also from Etude House and I’ve been using it with liquid foundation for over a month of no cleaning.Read more

Sunscreen For All Seasons: Physiogel Daily Defence

Whether it’s winter, spring, summer or fall… One thing remains in my skin care routine and that’s Physiogel Daily Defence sunscreen. We might not have winter in the Philippines but since I travel a lot, I get to use the two types of moisturizers in this line to protect my skin from the harmful rays of the sun or pollutants of whichever city I’m flying into. I never travel without it; if I realize that I’ve forgotten it on the way to the airport, I’d turn back to get it from the house. It’s just as important as my passport!Read more

Paradise Dynasty : Best Xiao Long Bao in Manila

It’s hard to impress someone like me when it comes to dining because I love to try all the best restaurants whenever I’m traveling to a new country. I feel like there are only a few outstanding restaurants in Manila despite the numerous number of establishments opening left and right. I did not expect to be blown away by the food when I was invited to Paradise Dynasty because I’ve never heard of it before and I wasn’t able to try it on my last trip to Singapore. But damn, they have the best Xiao Long Bao in Manila. InRead more

I recently discovered this posh but very affordable makeup brush brand called RIOT BRUSHES on Instagram. It was started by a very young entrepreneur named Rya Petines because of all the expensive and imported makeup brush sets that most beginner beauty junkies can’t afford. So lo and behold, she created this Riot Girl Complete Set for only P2,500. (Tip: She has special discounts for students!) It includes the following (15) brushes: Powder Brush Angled Flat Top Kabuki Paddle Foundation Brush Angled Brush Flat Contour Fan Concealer Buffer Angled Liner Smudge Brush Bullet (crease) Brush Blending Brush Pencil Brush Shader AngledRead more

Angbao-worthy Holiday Finds at Sephora Philippines

Chinese New Year is fast approaching so I’m anticipating a handful of “Angbao” from my relatives. It’s in our grandparents’ tradition to hand out red envelopes with money inside to all those who are single in the family. (yay to being single!) So I thought of writing about angbao-worthy holiday finds at Sephora Philippines so you may know where to spend your hard-earned money from those magical red envelopes. Sephora Collection Color Wonderland Palette (P3,136.00) This baby has 78 eyeshadows, 1 base, 1 highlighter, 2 eyeliners (black and silver) and one dual-ended brush so this is one palette that you canRead more
