Globe Laboracay Day 2 | Island Hopping | Sunkissed Boracay 2016

Our second day at Laboracay (May 1) was surprisingly very quiet and laidback. You’d think that after the hoardes of party goers at Zoukout, the beach would be filled with people and trash the next day but…. This photo was taken during lunch time and the beach front was almost empty! It’s probably because Labor Day fell on a Sunday so there’s no additional holiday. A lot of people had to catch a plane that day to make it in time for work on Monday. Look at how clean, beautiful and peaceful the beach was at noontime!! Perhaps people wereRead more

Dogs And The City: Your One Stop Pet Shop

Everybody knows how much I love to spoil my pet Maltese/ baby, Tiffy the brat. I always shop for toys and supplies for her whenever I go abroad because I assumed that local shops in Manila don’t carry those items. But lo and behold, after chancing upon this pet store in Eastwood Citywalk, I will never buy heavy shampoos or smoosh pet beds into my luggage again. Dogs And The City, obviously inspired from the hit TV series, Sex and The City, is every pet owner’s haven. They’re got everything that we need – even those we don’t think of buyingRead more

Color Your Hair Bold with Watsons’ DIY Dye

I’ve been coloring my hair as early as 12 years old. My mom pretty much let me do anything I wanted when it cameto styling and I’m glad she did because look where it got me! Coloring one’s hair can get addicting and it’s not so good if it’s starting to damage your hair. That’s why I limit my dyeing to once a year or use vegan hair dye instead. Last February, I had a terrible experience with a known salon that has a ” famous hair ambassador” and he himself colored my hair. I showed an old photo ofRead more

Globe Laboracay Day 1 | Kaskade @ Zoukout Boracay

This year’s Laboracay experience was far from last year’s. The beach was very clean and had way less people than the hoardes of party-goers in 2015. There was also little sea moss (lumot) visible, about 2 feet long at most, compared to last year’s thick bed of moss on the shore. They had to haul it out in garbage bags because it got smelly and visually atrocious to the tourists. Look at how blank the waters are! No people and trash around! You can compare photos from my LABORACAY 2015 blog entry to see what I mean. Just like theRead more
